Yes, I am: I live in a very small country named The Netherlands.
- Why do you write this blog?
Mostly because to keep busy: The mind needs to stay sharp, also there are zero expectations of this blog ever turning a profit.
- What is your formal education?
I have gone through a bachelor`s degree, but also several side courses and activities relating to the field of economics. There were also partial courses for possible long term investments and horizon broadening.
- For whom is this blog?
It is for anyone interested in a contemporary look at economics. And by contemporary, we mean around mid to late -2020s.
- Can anyone just use the articles from this blog?
It would be appreciated (as is mandatory in academic circles) to list this blog as the source, but yeah go for it.
- Is it correct to state that this blog is primarily a hobby?
Yes, we do not have active professional plans for the blog.
- Can someone ask for stock tips?
We do not advice on anything, just read the article for a bit of information.
- Why are there such long breaks between articles?
The primary reason is quality control, to ensure that only the best ideas become articles. We let them sift for a while, also we occasionally spend time reviewing earlier work: Inspiration comes before perspiration.
- Are al pages finished, are articles ever updated?
Most pages are not updated, unless something changes or new article is instead added to an existing one. Our manifesto is updated regularly, to keep up with the experience and insight of the author.
- Is any part of this blog, or all of it, written by AI?
No AI was used to write the articles. The privacy policy might have some, it mostly originates from a third party so could contain AI created content.
